This talk reflects on Presbyterianism in the later 18th century through the writings and ministry of the Rev Dr William Campbell, minister of Armagh, 1764-89. Campbell became a prominent figure during those years and who left behind a manuscript which is held by the Presbyterian Historical Society of Ireland. In November 2019 a transcript of the manuscript was published by the Society. The Sketches of the History of Presbyterians in Ireland, 1803 may be purchased from the bookstore on the Society's website.
