| Metro 7 Bus Service - University Avenue Closure |
| University Avenue will be closed for 14 weeks approximately from 22nd June 2017 until 22th September 2017 between College Green and Ormeau Road due to work to renew footway and carriageway resurfacing.
The Metro 7 Service to get to and from the PHSI Library will operate the following routes during the closure: Outbound/Countrybound: The Metro 7 service will operate via Botanic Avenue and University Street to Ormeau Road. A temporary stop will be available at Wolseley Street which is reasonably close (200 yards) to the PHSI Library. Inbound/Citybound: The Metro 7 service will operate via Ormeau Road as normal but omits University Avenue and Botanic Avenue. Services will instead be turning left into Donegall Pass. A temporary stop will be available at Chamber Street on Donegall Pass. This is about ½ mile from the PHSI Library. There is a Metro 8 Service stop at the Student's Union on University Road about ⅓ mile from the Library. |
