Reception, Book Launch and Lecture

On Thursday 9 June Professor Robert Armstrong (Trinity College Dublin) will be delivering the Beckett Lecture of the Ulster Society for Irish Historical Studies. The title of the lecture is ‘“The Presbyterian Story” in 17th- and 18th-century Ireland’. It will be held in PRONI, Titanic Boulevard, Belfast at 6.30pm.

Before to the lecture, at 6pm, there will be a wine reception during which there will be the launch of the Presbyterian History in Ireland: Two Seventeenth-Century Narratives by Patrick Adair and Andrew Stewart, edited by Robert Armstrong, Andrew R. Holmes, R. Scott Spurlock and Patrick Walsh, and published by the Ulster Historical Foundation.
