Holy Land lantern slides set and the Rev Andrew Wilson

The Representative Church Body Library and Archive have acquired a set of lantern slides from Killaloe deanery, Co Clare.  It is thought that the photographer was David Brown of Donaghmore Soapworks, Co Tyrone.

David Brown was the brother-in-law of the Rev William Andrew Wilson, minister of New Row Presbyterian Church, Coleraine, and who was killed in a motor accident in 1918 while in France visiting with the Rev FWS O’Neiil who at that time was serving with the China Labour Corps.

The Rev Andrew Wilson had given a lecture (accompanied by lantern slides that came from the camera of David Brown) in Coleraine in 1897 about a trip to the Holy Land.  The slides include pictures of the Holy Land, of places in Ireland, of individuals who may be family and friends, and of the Irish International Exhibition in Dublin in 1907.

Can you help identify any of the Killaloe lantern slides that have connections to
the Rev Andrew James Wilson (of Malone Presbyterian Church) and his son,
the Rev Wiliam Andrew Wilson (New Row, Coleraine), and to
the Rev FWS O’Neill, Presbyterian missionary to Manchuria (who married Annie Wilson, the sister of the Rev William Andrew Wilson)?
