A Story that has to be Told
From Ballycastle to China
The story of James McMullan who left Ballycastle in 1884 to become a missionary in China is a story that has to be told. It is a story of a young man who left home to serve Christ with the China Inland Mission.
Few people in his home town have ever heard of him to-day, and even when he left home, no fuss seems to have been made in his local community to mark his departure. Some years age a letter from one of his grandsons set in hand some research that over a period of several years has unearthed a fascinating account of the work well done to the glory of God.
