400 years in the making, the rich history of Presbyterians in Ulster is to be charted in a major new television series by BBC Northern Ireland.
Producer/director Brendan Byrne says, “This is one of the biggest television productions happening in Northern Ireland this year and we are keen to hear from anyone in the wider Presbyterian community who might be able to help us get to the heart of what it means to be a Presbyterian”.
Maybe you can play a part .....
If you have a family Bible that links back to the earliest years of the Church, or any family connections with the Indian mission, or if you think you have something interesting that might help us tell this fascinating story – or indeed, if your congregation has any special event coming up this summer/autumn – then please do get in touch. If you have any documents, photographs or artefacts the Presbyterian Historical Society of Ireland would also love to hear from you – contact the Librarian at phsilibrarian@pcinet.org or on 028 9072 7330.
