The Crowley Project was undertaken by the National Archives of Ireland to catalogue to international archival standards, the registered papers of the Office of Chief Secretary of Ireland from 1818 to 1852, in order to facilitate public access to one of the most valuable sources of original material for research on Ireland in the first half of the nineteenth century. The first five years' material has been processed and the online catalogue is now available to the public.
