The Presbyterian Historical Society of Ireland Library has recently acquired the following pamphlet:
Religion in Everything
An address
dedicated to those converted in the Great Ulster Revival of
1859-60’
by the Rev. J. M. Killen, M. A.
(Edinburgh, 1860)
---
The Rev. James Millar Killen (who was the minister of 1st Comber Presbyterian Church from his ordination on 9 May 1832 until his death on 3 September 1879) appeals to Christians to live out their faith – “Recollect Christianity is a life, and not merely a belief”.
The Society has a collection of around 12,000 books and pamphlets. Over 550 of the pamphlets were printed before 1851. The collection has been catalogued but is not accessible online at present. Enquiries may be made to the Librarian.
Go to the PHSI Library Collections page for more information about their holdings.
